Gluten free cake with millet flour is a moist and aromatic sweet treat, that goes perfect with a cup of afternoon tea. Soft and delicious!
The elegant aroma of the almond, the sharpness of the lemon and the sweetness of millet flour are combined in this soft and delicate cake, in the perfect combination that will please everyone.
This soft and delicious gluten free cake is an original, tasty and delicate dessert, ideal even for breakfast with a good cup of coffee.
I am sure that it will also be appreciated by non-coeliacs, for its unique taste and very soft consistency!
You will need:
- 100g of millet flour
- 25g of rice flour
- 2 eggs
- 70g of sugar
- 60ml of vegetable oil
- 60ml of milk
- A tsp of vanilla exdtract
- 8g di baking powder
- The zest of half a lemon
- A few drops of almond extract
Let’s bake the gluten free cake with millet flour!
Whisk the eggs with sugar until frothy. Add the oil and milk a little bit a time whilw whisking.
Also add the almond extract and the lemon zest.
Finally, incorporate all the dry ingredients and mix until you get a smooth dough.
Pour into a greased and floured cake pan. Bake at 180 degrees for about 20/25 minutes.
